To continue to grow as a writer
Like most writers, I live two lives. My outer life is filled with friends and family and my work as an ad man. My award-winning TV, radio and print ads have amused the masses and helped sell tons of cleaning products, coffee, macadamia nuts and other goodies. My inner life is devoted to strange and wonderful characters driven to desperate or preposterous acts. Some of my short stories are starting to appear on the Amazon site. My first published novel, Mindclone, is a near-future look at the consequences of brain-uploading. It’s garnered mostly five star reviews. The sequel is percolating in my brain even now. Stay tuned.
Mindclone is my first published novel. Here's a brief description: Meet “Adam,” the world’s first digital entity. After a brain-upload, he has all the knowledge, memories and even the persona of Marc, his human donor. He even loves Marc’s new girlfriend Molly. But how does a brain without a body experience love? He can’t even experience pizza. At Molly’s urging, he applies his powerful brain to unearthing terrorist plots, schoolyard mayhem and more. But his good deeds attract a military contractor who will stop at nothing—theft, kidnapping and worse—to control the technology. Without a body, how will Adam save himself – and the world – from a terrible fate?
