About Me

After a long career in banking and insurance, I took a break from financial services to be a stay at home father for my two children.

In the summer of 2010, between changing diapers, I began to write 'After the Rain', which was published as a paperback and as an e-book in August 2011. The follow-up, 'Dark Eyes of London', was published in April 2012. November that year saw the publication of number three, 'She's Not Coming Home', set in Boston and New York.

'Something To Die For', a thriller which introduced the maverick LAPD Detective Sam Leroy, was published at the end of 2013, and its sequel, 'Wrong Time to Die' followed in 2015. In between these two excursions to Los Angeles, the London-based thriller 'Don't Go out in the Dark' appeared in 2014.

I returned to New York City for next latest book, 'Should Have Looked Away', and 2017 saw the third in the Sam Leroy series, 'No Place to Die'.

April 2018 saw the release of "The Angel", another London-based thriller featuring the reporter Jack Richardson, whom we met four years earlier.

Having two young daughters, I don't not have much spare time, but between writing and school runs I've retained an interest in the history of cinema and model railroading.
