About me? A Canadian by birth, a high school dropout, and a mother at 17, in my early years, I supported myself as a stock girl in the Hudson’s Bay Company, as a long-distance operator for the former Alberta Government Telephones, and as a secretary (Bechtel Corp sponsored me into the States). I also was a cocktail waitress at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, briefly broke into the male-dominated world of the docks as a longshoreman (I was the first woman to work on the SF docks and almost got my legs broken), founded and managed a homeless shelter in Marin County, co-created The Story Shoppe, a weekly radio program for children that aired on KTIM in Marin County, CA, and eventually earned two Master’s degrees (one in creative writing and one in the humanities). I have published reviews, interviews, short fiction, poetry, travel pieces, essays, and memoir in over 155 American and Canadian venues. My novel Fling! was published in 2015. Curva Peligrosa came out in 2017. Freefall: A Divine Comedy will be released 1/1/19. My poetry collection All This was published in 2011. I taught rhetoric at the University of San Francisco for over 30 years and currently teach creative writing at USF’s Fromm Institute for Lifelong Learning. I also blog about writing and reading at http://lilyionamackenzie.com. (All of my books are available from Amazon.)

Hi everyone, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Sean Kerr, and I am a 49-year-old gay man living in Cardiff, Wales with my husband of 28 years, Derek. We have two cats, Rita and Harry, and a host of tropical fish.
I worked on building sites for years, and I used the money earned from that to put myself through college, specialist paint techniques etc. I trained in fine art, and then I went out and painted murals on client’s walls, and created Roman Bathrooms and fantasy hand painted bedrooms, all the rage back in the late eighties and nineties. I then became an Interior Designer for a large DIY chain. For the past thirteen years I ran my own Interiors business, and while that is no longer in existence, I am now looking for my next challenge in life!
By night I am an Author, and I am very proud to be an author for Extasy Books. It took me some years to get to this point. I spent a very long time trying to get an agent because I thought it was the right thing to do, and after a heck of a lot of refusals, I nearly gave up. I came so close to hitting the delete button on Dead Camp 1 because I thought I did not stand a chance. At the very last moment, I decided to have a go at approaching a few publishers directly, and I sent the manuscript to six. Within two weeks, I had offers of publication from three! Let’s just say that there may have been tears lol. It was my chance, at last, to become a part of a world that I have always loved and admired from a distance, and it is one of the very best things to ever happened to me.
Dead Camp is the first series I ever wrote, and then there is my short novella called Hush Little Baby. Dead Camp is my take on the Vampire genre, an MM Paranormal Romance series that is set against a backdrop of World War 2. However, the series uses key moments from History to tell one enormous saga, and I have loved every single moment of writing it. There are five books in the Dead Camp series.
Hush is a pure horror story with more than a nod towards such classic programmes as The Twilight Zone and Tales of The Unexpected. The project happened just after I completed Dead Camp 3 and it is a story that I had to get out of my system. It’s definitely a different beast to my Vampire saga, and I hope it will make you go to bed with the lights on lol!
I recently ventured into the world of self-publishing, and as such, I have just released my first independent book series, The Last Child. The Last Child is a horror series that is in 3 parts dealing with the occult. It has a definite Dan Brown vibe in that I love conspiracy stories, so I have used religion and some intriguing legends as the backdrop to this contemporary supernatural thriller that tells the story of a female protagonist trying to protect her young student. Neither of them realises how their lives, and indeed their histories, are intertwined in the most horrific and tragic ways.
My latest book, ‘The Man Inside Me’ is an MM Victorian Gothic Romance, and I think it is the favourite thing I have written so far. It deals with two men in their fifties trying to find love again, a subject that is very close to my heart as I approach that milestone. It is a very important book to me, and while it has some very ‘KERR’ twists and turns, it is, at its heart, a very romantic tale that deals with middle age. I am particularly proud of this book, and it is a very different spin on the MM genre.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to meeting you on social media.

Hi, I’m a YA author.

Hello. My name is Dawn Doig. After an extremely rewarding career as a certified audiologist that spanned 23 years and took me to different parts of Canada, Kuwait, England, and Saudi Arabia, I am now a teacher of English as an additional language. When not working, I love to travel with my hubby. I get inspiration for my books from the delightful children I work with, family and friends, travel and general life experiences, and the adorable kitties who have come into our life.

Hello all you hard working writers,

Rm Harrington here. You can call me Rm or you can call me Mike. I answer to either. Born in the hills of Taylorsville, I am a life-time resident North Carolina. That is 66 years and counting.

In the course of years, I have published short stories and software reviews in a host of slick-back magazines. Then, for a long spell, I shifted my creative talents into the computer software industry. For me, writing and programming cannot exist in the same time frame. I must do the one or do the other. Programming paid the bills.

However, in more recent years, I stepped back into the world of writing. As of date, I have sold more than 8000 pay-per-order Internet content articles. Topics range from construction to pest control and from computer repair to website development and management.

Now, I shift focus once again. As an avid reader of science fiction and fantasy, I have restrained many stories within my internal content mill. They now burst free.

On my website https://rmharringtonshortstories.com, I self-publish various informational content as well a free-to-read science fiction and fantasy short stories. It is about getting my name out. But why not help others in the process.

I have also self-published multiple books on the Amazon KDP system.

I look forward to learning and sharing with all those who are here.

hello. My name is Yigal Zur. I am an Israeli writer and journalist who has written 13 books, so far. My life has revolved around curiosity for places and people. At an early age, reading satisfied this curiosity, but as I got older, I took to the road with a knapsack and pen. I still do. After writing a few literary novels, I took up the thriller genre as it allowed me to merge my two key interests: traveling and writing.
My thriller Passport to Death, set in Thailand was the first to feature ex-Mossad agent Dotan Naor, My second Dotan Naor thriller Death in Shangri-la, set in North India and Kashmir, was the first to be translated into English, both published in the States by Oceanview. The third book in the series, Child of Dust is also set in Southern Asia; I hope to see it translated and available in English next year.

Hello. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to be part of this community. My name is Jane. I am a Kenyan citizen and have a three-year experience in writing. I have one published book on Amazon. Hey all!

I'm Amanda and I write dark fantasy/horror, my saga containing a twist on your typical vampire/werewolf hybrid, and am currently writing a 13+ book series with a female serial killer MC. Most of the + will be bonus content for pre-orders and such as the series progresses. If I'm not writing, I'm editing, doing paperback layout (I do offer paperback layout as a service, too), going to class, playing video games or partaking in the love of things horror. Yes, I'm a full-time student and indie author. I'm 37 but I realized it's never too late to go back to school and it's never too late to chase your dreams. This dream didn't even become a dream until about 4 years ago and I'm totally okay with that. Life happens the way it does for a reason. My website is https://www.amanda-byrd.com and if you're interested in layout services, look me up on Fiverr Byrdieshandmade, or message me here and I can send you the direct link.
