Hello, everyone.
Happy to be here. My name is Zara Altair. My Argolicus Mystery books are traditional mysteries set in early 6th Century Italy. You can find them at my author page on Amazon. amazon.com/author/zaraaltair
Argolicus was a real person at the time of Theodoric’s reign in Italy. He is mentioned nine times in Cassiodorus’ Variae (iii 11, iii 12, iii 29, iii 30, iii 33, iv 22, iv 25, iv 29, iv 42) as praefectus urbis of Rome. His childhood and ongoing friendship with Cassiodorus come from my imagination as well as his retirement in the very southern tip of Italy, the setting for the mystery series.
I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas with other writers here in the forum.

Hi. I'm Sam, been writing all my adult life, half of which I've also been a publisher. My Original Plus has put out 5 chapbooks already this year. I'm busy.

My name is Wayne Edward Clarke and I am an author, sociologist, musician, and inventor.

Over the last few years I've spent most of my intellectual and creative
energies in writing science fiction and fantasy novels. I’ve been a hard
sci-fi fan my whole life, but everyone else I know who’s an avid reader are all
fantasy fans. Over the years I’ve borrowed all their books, and learned to
love that genre as well.

My science fiction influences include the old masters; Heinlein, Asimov, Niven,
Bradbury, Clarke, etc. Also William Gibson, Iain M. Banks, and Ender’s Game by
Orson Scott Card. My favorite relatively unknown author is Daniel Keyes Moran,
and if you like sci-fi you should read his Continuing Time trilogy; Emerald
Eyes, The Long Run, and The Last Dancer. They might be out of print, but I
think you can still get them as ebooks online.

My fantasy influences include Raymond E. Feist, David Eddings, and Jaqueline

I’ve also been influenced as a fiction writer by my sociological work, and my
science fiction novel People Of The Tiger (and the rest of The Rational Future
Series) is set in a utopian future where my social policies have been
implemented, which is a good way to get those ideas out into the public

Hello everyone! :)
My name is Chris Humphreys. I'm an author, an inventor, and a long-time entrepreneur. Ever since I was a kid I've had a business of one sort or another. I had a commercial printing business which I built from scratch and ran for 17 years before selling to pursue other interests. One of those interests is the desire to pass on what I've learned over the years to the next generation.

I prefer to write teaching stories, similar to books such as "Who Moved My Cheese" or "The Richest Man In Babylon". My goal is to help teach kids and adults alike to reexamine their basic beliefs about the world, including the subject of wealth and how it comes about.

I have a whole series of books planned out. My first book "Creating Wealth From Scratch" https://www.amazon.com/Creating-Wealth-Scratch-Consistent-Prosperity-ebook/dp/B00E6HR2LS/ is already on Amazon, while the rest are either sketched out, or nearly complete. These books are meant to be read on several levels-they're about life lessons, not just money and wealth. My hope is that my readers will reflect on how the simple lessons in the series apply to their own personal situations just as readily as the do for the characters in the story.

We are all beginners at some point. I hope to improve with each book I release. As long as something I say speaks to someone out there in a meaningful way, and makes a difference for them, then I'm happy. :)

Just a quick hello. I just found this site today and have been looking for ways to connect to more readers. I write a western serial based on the old cliffhanger movie shorts that used to play in theaters before the main feature.

Curious as to why these replies are in date order instead of latest first. Seems strange to not have the latest additions at the beginning.
