[waves hello to everyone]

I'm a freelancer who does book formatting, HTML/CSS web stuff, ghostwriting, and copyediting/proofreading.

As a writer for myself, I produce both nonfiction and fiction that tends to cross genres.

Under my name (Misti Wolanski), my stories are primarily dark-themed epic or urban fantasy.

As Misty White, I write some mostly-lighter soft sci-fi stories.

As Cara Lee, I write dystopia/cyberpunk.

As Carralee Byrd, I write outright dark fantasy.

I'm a leapfrog writer.

gemwriter

Hi there,

My name is Claire Gem and I write romance: contemporary, paranormal, & women's fiction. My debut novel was published in 2015 and my fourth is coming out Sept. 29th. I write because I love happy-ever-afters: I've been married to my childhood sweetheart for 38 years! I live it, I believe in it, and I can't help but write about it.

I also love the paranormal so some of my books have ghosts in them. You can find out more about me at www.clairegem.com and at www.emotionalcontemporaryromance.com.

I'm glad to be here and part of this group!

Hernaman

Hi. I'm Richard Hernaman Allen. I'm a retired government servant who has been writing since I was a child. I write two sorts of books. The first is my attempt to write my version of "War and Peace" from a British perspective, but using an invented world rather than being limited to the facts of history. I started with the idea of using the English Civil War, but as a historian, I couldn't contemplate the need to be factually accurate and consistent throughout. I preferred to invent my own world - but one which is not so different from my own. The first novel in this series "Through Fire" took me 30 years to write.
The other type of books are detective stores, mostly set in HM Customs & Excise., where I worked for 25 years. Customs and excise work is varied and I know of plenty of incidents to form the basis for my stories. I try to keep them as realistic as possible, and true to the culture and nature of HM Customs & Excise in the years 1964-2001.
I am married, with 2 daughters and 2 grandson. I'm extremely proud of all my family.
I write music and experiment in acrylic paint. I play the guitar, fado guitar, banjo, mandolin & violin. I am a keen long distance runner, currently hobbled by a gammy hip and tight Achilles. So it's but 4 miles a time, with badminton once a week too.
I live in a south-east London suburb with a half-wild garden, and a flat overlooking the sea at Deal in Kent.
I write because it is all in there wanting to come out and I love working my way through detective stories wondering who did it, until I work it out when I'm about 80% through writing it.

Hello, I’m Nicholas Guild and I regard myself as a recovering academic. After earning a Ph.D. in English I taught for seven years before turning full time to writing. I have 13 novels on Amazon, almost all of them originally published commercially. I started out writing thrillers but in recent years have turned more to historical fiction, such as The Assyrian and its sequel The Blood Star, both of which were best sellers in Europe. My most recent publications were, Blood Ties a detective novel, and The Ironsmith, an historical. The Spartan Dagger, another historical, will be coming out in December. I invite you to visit my website, http://www.nicholasguild.com, where you will find descriptions and sample chapters of all my novels, along with essays on literary topics. Join me on Twitter and subscribe to my newsletter by emailing me at nicholas.guild@gmail.com. Or just drop me a note if you want to shoot the breeze.
