MarkPatrick

I'm Mark Patrick

I'm English and write in British English - more or less.

I've published 4 books in a series called 'The Chronicles of the White Tower', the latest, Legacy, is a mini trilogy within the series. They are Adventure - Medieval- with a touch of magic. I can't call them fantasy as they don't contain dragons, elves, dwarfs, etc.

The four novels are, in order: Janette's Tale, Bennett, Winter Moon and Legacy. They are all 'stand-alone' books - except for Legacy which is the first of a trilogy. All are available on Amazon in Kindle or soft-cover.

My website is http://www.markpatrick.net where you can read the first three chapters of all my books. I also like sharing thoughts and opinions about anything regarding publishing or writing.

Me? A young trauma surgeon writing a wonderfull adventure during my time outside of the emergency room. And - against all odds - it is not bloody in the least, but full of the magic of Christmas: "Fraud at Snowfields" by Daniel Klock.
Pleased to meet you all.

I've just joined this gathering and I look forward to "meeting" you all as we go along.

Hello! I write as R.L. Herron, although I'm known to my friends as Ron. I was born in Tennessee, but have lived most of my life in Michigan. I once worked for some of the world's largest advertising agencies and enjoyed a career in public relations and marketing with an international Fortune 10 corporation.

I have written and published four novels and two short-story collections (to great reviews), including three award-winners, since 2012. Although I hate the winters here, I still live and write in Michigan with my lovely wife, an ugly mortgage and one enormous cat.

FayeHall79

Hello :-) I'm a newbie here and still trying to find my way.

I'm a published Australian author of Historical romantic suspense.

Murder, lies, deception, and love set in the outback under the Australian sun.

These are the stories of Faye Hall.

Her passion driven, mystery filled books are set in North Queensland, Australia during the development of the townships at the end of the 19th century.

Each of her novels bring something symbolically Australian to her readers, from Aboriginal herbal remedies, to certain gemstones naturally only found in this part of the world.

Each of her books tell of a passionate connection between the hero and heroine, surrounded and threatened by deceit, scandal, theft and sometimes even murder.

These romances swerve from the traditional romances as Faye aims to give her readers so much more intrigue, whilst also revealing the hidden histories of rural townships of North Queensland.

Faye finds her inspiration from the histories of not only the township she grew up in, but the many surrounding it. She also bases most of her characters on her own ancestors and their adventures when first migrating to Australia.

Faye was able to live her own passion driven romance, marrying the love of her life after a whirlwind romance in 2013. Together they are raising their 9 children in a remote country town in northern Queensland, Australia.

Greetings. =)

I'm Holly Blackstone, and I write literary erotica in a variety of genres including contemporary, cyberpunk and fantasy.

I think erotica shouldn't just be about titillation but tell a story against a rich backdrop. I like my characters to be realistic and interesting, and they undergo a transformation as they confront difficulties in the story. Intimacy is a large part of adult relationships, and the people we meet and interact with can dramatically influence our lives. I try to capture that and create an environment that is detailed and captivating.

I have self-published nine full length novels and am editing my tenth, for a total just shy of a million words in almost four years... and I remember when I thought NANOWRIMO would be difficult. ;-)

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with four cats that think I sit at my desk too much and don't pet them enough! =) (They lie about this, as all cats do!)

Wish everyone success with their writing.

All the best,
Holly

Unbelievably- I'm yet another writer. Hi. On the scale of literary genius, I'm less near the top than Shakespeare and less near the bottom than some well known dyslexic Vogons. Though actually- I am a dyslexic in almost all genres.
I am quite often at http://richardbunningbooksandreviews.com

RoxanneBland

Hello, all--I'm happy to have found this group. I write science fiction, fantasy and romance, usually at least two at the same time. Sometimes all three. I've two published novels, and am working on the third. I think I've got the best of both worlds--I'm a regular columnist for a trade magazine by day, and an author by night (when I can, because my day job takes up a LOT of time). What it means is that I write constantly, and I think that's wonderful.

pvtruman

Howdy. Phil Truman here. I'm a native Oklahoman, a former teacher and businessman, now a full-time novelist. I earned a degree in English way last century, but that doesn't necessarily qualify me as a writer. On the other hand, I don't suppose it can hurt.
I have four novels on the market in three different genres all of which are available from Amazon in both print and e-book formats. I would certainly welcome your readership:

GAME, an American Novel - http://ow.ly/dZdSl
Treasure Kills, Legends of Tsalagee #1 - http://ow.ly/W5k5m
Red Lands Outlaw, the Ballad of Henry Starr - http://ow.ly/Kvx9p

PhilippaRees

I am happy to introduce myself. I write to make sense of life, both fiction and non-fiction, short stories and poems. Most of my life has been taken up with finding a way to express an unorthodox understanding of the nature of nature as consciousness. You can read much about Involution- An Odyssey as well as listen to short readings here https://involution-odyssey.com/ A lighter blog/website is here https://philipparees.wordpress.com/ which introduces more general ideas, poems and exchanges with friends. Letters of Love is about the only thing that matters, not sentimental but honest, even in criticism.

HLDickson

Hello gang and thanks for welcoming me!

I am a hybrid author, with several indie titles as well as traditionally published ones. I write speculative fiction, with 6 published novels out right now, with a 7th finished and an 8th half done. I am also a zoologist by training and all of my novels use science in some way, shape or form to underscore the human experience. (In other words, I'm a science geek/nerd girl and love it!)

I also penciled for DC Comics during my university years and keep my skills sharp by doing covers, so if you (or any author you know) need a cover, get in touch. I'd be happy to lend a pen!

I'm very active on Facebook, and blog on occasion. Come join the conversation at www.hleightondickson.com and www.facebook.com/HLeightonDickson!
